The Osbourne family are in talks to revive the reality TV show that helped make them a household name.

The Osbournes ran on MTV from 2002 to 2005, featuring the home life of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, his manager wife Sharon, daughter Kelly, son Jack and their various pets. Its popularity helped launch the TV careers of Sharon, Jack and Kelly.

Now Jack has told The Sun newspaper: "We've talked about it. It's been thrown around a little bit.

"It's just a different vibe. We don't all live together any more, we all kind of have our own things going on.

    "So, it's a different dynamic."

The series would go out in 2014 and would pick up from Sharon and Ozzy's difficult year, in which she said she demanded a divorce after finding out he had started drinking and taking drugs again. The couple were reported to have temporarily split but have since got back together and Ozzy is now sober.

The original show was a warts and all look at the rock and roll family's life, including rows and Sharon's battle with cancer.
