It’s a still a few days off from Halloween, the new John Lewis advert hasn’t aired yet and everyone is holding strong from eating the first mince pie of 2016.

However, if you simply can’t wait any longer for the Christmas celebrations to begin, BT TV has the answer with the festive celebrations kicking off early this weekend on Christmas 24.

It’s time  to deck the halls, whip up some eggnog and get ready for Yuletide cheer as Christmas 24 delivers Christmas movies all day, every day.

Movies 24, BT TV Channel 513, switches to its Christmas format on Saturday at 7am with a special day of seasonal films picked by the channels’ fans in a Facebook vote.

Fan favourites Christmas Under Wraps, Hats Off to Christmas, The Christmas Shepherd and The Most Wonderful Time of The Year have all been selected by viewers and will air across the day.

Early tinsel-tastic rom-coms and winter-warming dramas in the schedule include Christmas Land, the story of a New York businesswoman (Nikki Deloach) who inherits a Christmas-themed village in the countryside, who must decide whether to stay with her great job and perfect life in the city or stay and restore the village to its former glory.

On Sunday at 3pm, Glee actress Amber Riley stars in feel-good favourite My One Christmas Wish, a true story about Jackie Turner, a straight-A college student who places an online ad to find a family to spend Christmas with and, to her surprise, she’s flooded with offers.

Another seasonal highlight is 12 Men of Christmas on 5th November at 3pm, which stars Kristen Chenoweth as publicist EJ Baxter who loses her job in New York and moves to Montana for a fresh start. After spotting a chance to use her media skills to launch a Christmas charity calendar for male rescue works, sparks begin to fly between Baxter and arrogant rescue worker Will (Josh Hopkins),
