What better time of year is there to gather around the box and stream some festive treats?

There’s a whole Christmas collection of shows and films just waiting to be streamed on Netflix right now. So what are you waiting for?

1. A Very Murray Christmas

Netflix Christmas

All-singing, all-dancing – A Very Murray Christmas debuted on Netflix last year, but if you haven’t seen it yet, this festive period is the perfect time to watch it.

The comedy musical is a who’s who of talent and features George Clooney and Miley Cyrus alongside star of the show, Bill Murray. Chris Rock, Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones also pop up in this homage to classic holiday variety shows.

2. BoJack Horseman Christmas Special

Netflix Christmas

The hit US animation about a sitcom star of the 90s who’s fallen on hard times is voiced by Will Arnett, Aaron Paul and Amy Sedaris and its Christmas special is just what you’d expect.

Grumpy BoJack Horseman isn’t really one for Christmas. That is until Todd (voiced by Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul) wants to make it the best Christmas day ever – by watching an episode of BoJack’s old sitcom, Horsin’ Around. Will it be enough to get BoJack in the festive spirit?

3. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

Netflix Christmas

The highly-anticipated return of the noughties smash-hit US show is coming to Netflix for a special four-part series – each episode set in a different season of the year.

Joining Lorelai, Rory and Emily 10 years after we last saw them, the first episode will be ‘Winter’ and is set around Christmas, which means that we can expect plenty of snow, tinsel and high drama with the Gilmores.

4. Black Mirror’s White Christmas

Netflix Christmas

This feature-length episode of Black Mirror originally aired on Channel 4. However, since the show went to Netflix it’s now available to stream.

With three interconnected tales of technology told by two men at a remote outpost trying to have something that vaguely resembles Christmas – including roast potatoes. Starring Mad Men’s Jon Hamm as Matt and Rafe Spall as Potter, it’s bleak, thought-provoking but definitely very Christmassy.

5. Fuller House

Netflix Christmas

A spin-off from Full House, Fuller House focuses on vet and recently widowed DJ Tanner-Fuller, who ends up living in her childhood home with her younger sister and best friend.

And now, the second season of the US drama will be premiering on December 9. They haven't given away too many details of what happens this season yet, but there will certainly be one very festive episode if this picture is anything to go by!
