Dan Snow and his wife Lady Edwina Grosvenor have sadly lost their second child. The wife of the TV presenter suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.

Snow missed a live show he was filming about Heathrow airport last week due to ‘last minute family reasons’, however, it has now since emerged that he was at his wife’s side during the miscarriage.

Speaking to the Sunday Express, Snow said 'It’s happened and we’re not hiding anything. And yes we’ll be trying again.’

The couple, who married in 2010, have a two-year-old-daughter called Zia.

He is not the first high profile celebrity to lose a child so late into a pregnancy. Lily Allen, Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook all tragically lost babies in later stages of their pregnancies.

If you have been affected by miscarriage, The Miscarriage Association has a support helpline and support groups.
