Forget those scrumptious pastries, show-stopping eclairs and three-time star baker Richard Burr – its Mary Berry’s bomber jacket that has grabbed our attention.
Appearing alongside fellow judge Paul Hollywood and presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, the 79-year-old TV star stole the show with an M&S stork print jacket that sold out within hours of the seventh episode of the Great British Bake Off airing on BBC One.
The Twitterati wasted no time as they logged on to the social media site to comment on the Bake-Off presenter and her eye-catching pink jacket.
Ever since the first Bake Off episode was aired five years ago, the food writer has become a style icon, and is known to favour bold prints and floral emsembles.
So here’s what happened when Mary and the M&S jacket made their appearance.
What? Sold out?
