As new Bond film Spectre is soon to be released – starring the oldest ever Bond girl, 50-year-old Monica Bellucci – a former Bond girl is making waves in the fashion industry.
Maryam D’Abo, 54, is joining the likes of Lorraine Kelly to model for fashion retailer JD Williams’ AW15 collection.
The actress and model found fame in the 1987 Bond film The Living Daylights, starring opposite Timothy Dalton’s Bond as Czechoslovakian cellist, sniper and love interest Kara Milovy.
And now, 28 years later, she’ll feature on billboards and posters again.
Linda Quinn, Ladieswear and Design Director at JD Williams, says: “Maryam really captures the spirit of the modern 50+ woman with her natural beauty and chic sense of style.
“She was a pleasure to work with and proves that the over-50s are the role models for the modern age.”
The AW15 collection includes glamorous separates, statement coats, flattering dresses and versatile outfits to take you from day to evening.
The colour palette of autumnal burgundy, deep reds and soft blues stands perfectly along with leopard prints, geo prints, folksy florals and shimmering sequins to create a rich and wearable collection.
