Quite frankly we can’t get enough of strawberries.

With cream, topping a delicious dessert or simply enjoyed on their own, strawberries are as much a staple of the warm summer months as ice cream, BBQs and picnics.

That’s why we’re bringing you this life hack that will transform the way you prep your strawberries.

Rather than having to pull out the stalk or eat around it, we’re going to show you how to use a cheap plastic straw to hull strawberries.

It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be able to do it in no time and can use your hulled strawberries for one of these yummy recipes

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Take a strawberry and a plastic drinking straw

Step 2: Push the straw through the bottom of the strawberry, all the way to the top

Step 3: Try to keep the straw in the middle, so it catches the stalk – the stalk should be in the straw

Step 4: Pick off the remaining leaves
