Cashback website Quidco has launched a new reward programme offering even more money back when you shop using its site.

Quidco Rewards gives members 'coins' when they spend with a retailer that offers cashback either online or in-store

As you collect these coins you’ll advance through three levels; silver, gold and platinum, earning a cash reward as you complete each level. You can earn coins with over 165 big name retailers at present including Debenhams, The Body Shop, River Island and Travelodge. Members typically earn 10-20 coins for spending more than £10 with those retailers.

What will I get?

Quidco has two types of memberships.

Basic members enjoy free access to cashback deals, but see adverts on the website and may find their cashback is slower to be paid. Premium members pay £5 a year but get quicker cashback payments and an ad-free website.

Also, Premium members earn double the cash with the new rewards scheme. A Basic member who earns 50 coins will complete the Silver level and earn £2.50.

But a Premium member who earns 50 coins will be paid £5. If you earn 150 coins you’ll complete the Gold level; Basic members will earn £7.50, while Premium members will pocket £15.

Finally if you earn 500 coins you’ll have completed the Platinum level, banking £25 if you are a Basic member and £50 for Premium users.

Just be aware that each time you complete a level your coins are reset. So to get that final Platinum payment you will need to earn 700 coins in total.

But with potentially 20 coins on offer for every £10 spent that would mean you spend £350 and get £50 back. Plus you will earn cashback on that spending too.

Why we love cashback websites

Cashback websites are brilliant because they essentially offer you free money.

So long as you shop via a tracker link from your cashback site of choice, you'll then get a percentage of your spend back in cold, hard cash. That's free money!

So for example, let's say you want to spend some money with Marks & Spencer. Head over to Quidco or TopCashback, then search for Marks & Spencer.

Each cashback site will have a page that details their cashback deals for that retailer. All you have to do is click the link over to the shop, and the money you spend will be tracked.

Then in a couple of weeks you'll get some of the money back! It's that easy.
