Winter vacations are nothing without a little snow and ice and the celebrity set know it – which is why they decamp en masse to their favourite ski resorts around February.
You might not be able to keep up with them in the ski-wear stakes – expect to see Fendi’s £2,790 gold brocade ski jacket swishing down the slopes – but you can certainly live the life by visiting a celebrity ski hotspot.
According to luxury ski holiday operators Firefly Collection, the spot most loved by the A-listers is Verbier in Switzerland, where you might spot the likes of Prince Harry, Kate Moss and Jude Law indulging on the slopes before some apres-ski.
But Verbier aside, where else do the rich and famous love to ski? Here are some of their favourites so you can start planning your trip:
The Kardashians love Vail, Colorado
The Kardashians love the Colorado resort of Vail, where they used to ski with their late father Robert. Last year, momager Kris organised a surprise trip there for the whole clan – by private jet, of course.
Try snowboarding while there like Kylie or just sit back and relax a la Kim.
The royals love Courchevel, France
What better place to take your family's Christmas photo than in the pretty resort of Courchevel, nestled in the French Alps.
It’s where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their first family holiday as a four, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in tow. Expect to find Michelin-starred restaurants, world-class pistes and a lot of luxury.
The Hadids head to Aspen, Colorado
When they’re taking a break from walking the runway for Victoria’s Secret or appearing in Vogue, supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid head to Aspen, Colorado, along with mum Yolanda and brother Anwar. The resort is a favourite for the family, who have been visiting for over 18 years.
Don't be surprised if you bump into other famous faces there too, like Cameron Diaz, Bill Murray and Paris Hilton. These A-listers tend to stay at either Hotel Jerome or the St Regis.
The Beckhams love Whistler, Canada
What did Victoria Beckham do after showing her fall fashion collection earlier this year? She whisked the whole family off to the Canadian ski haven of Whistler.
David Beckham was so taken with the scenery that he admitted he posted a lot more on Instagram than normal. But spare a thought for eldest son Brooklyn, who broke his collarbone while snowboarding.
