Friday 13th need not be unlucky, it's International Kissing Day.
To celebrate, we’ve rounded up the best places to snog this summer.
Here are nine of our favourites.
1. Pink sand beaches in Harbour Island, Bahamas
Take a romantic getaway and head to Harbour Island.
Its pink sand beaches make for a very Instagrammable PDA.
2. On a gondola under the Bridge of Sighs, Venice
Cliché? Yes, but totally worth it.
Local legend says that if lovers kiss on a gondola at sunset under the bridge as the bells of St Mark’s Campanile toll, they will be blessed with eternal love.
It’s a little specific, but worth a try for that eternity of bliss.
3. Tonight Josephine, London
Who says couples should have all the fun?
Tonight Josephine is the latest cool-girl haunt to hit London and is a cocktail bar with a difference. It is an ideal spot for the singletons out there to meet a mysterious stranger or two.
4. Your very own Love Island-style villa, Mallorca
It’s the show that’s gripped the nation last summer which meant that rather than go out and enjoy the summer sun, we were all indoors waiting until 9pm to see who is the latest mug du jour.
Forget kissing frogs to find your prince, you’ll have to dodge all those snakes to find a guy that is 100% your type on paper.
5. Juliet’s Balcony, Verona
Sure, things didn’t end well for those famed star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet, but all great works of art need a plot twist.
Write your own great love story and seal it with a kiss at Casa di Giulietta in Verona.
6. Watching lovebirds in Tanzania
Named for their strong monogamous pairings, lovebirds are found dotted around Africa.
Look out for both the yellow-collared lovebird and Fischer’s lovebird in Tanzania.
Have a quick peck in their company and, who knows, maybe you’ll have some insight into what makes their relationships so successful.
7. Recreate an iconic moment in Times Square, New York
You’ve all seen that picture-perfect VJ Day kiss in Times Square. Photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt caught the moment a US Navy sailor grabbed a stranger in a white dress and kissed her passionately.
Why not recreate it 73 years on?
8. A Royal Wedding-style kiss in front of Buckingham Palace, London
That beautiful kiss between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on their wedding day has become iconic. And with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tying the knot this year, there's never been a better time.
While you won’t be able to visit the exact same spot, you can definitely smooch outside the gates of the palace and make a guard or two blush.
