V Festival is the latest of the summer’s music festivals to release its line-up.

We found out everything you need to know about the festival.

When is it?

The two-day festival will take place across both of its sites on Saturday August 19 and Sunday August 20.

Festival-goers planning on camping over the weekend can arrive on Friday to pitch up their tents and can leave on Monday August 21.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday March 3 and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.

Where are the festival sites?

V Festival has two sites: one at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, and one at Weston Park in Weston-under-Lizard, Staffordshire.

Shuttle buses will run between Chelmsford Rail Station and Hylands Park for £5 for a return ticket.

A similar scheme will run between Stafford Rail Station and Weston Park, charging £10 for a return or £7 for a single.

How does the carousel line-up work?

V Festival operates a carousel line-up. This means that all artists play both locations on different days.

The acts performing at Hylands Park on Saturday will play Weston Park on Sunday, and vice versa.

Who is headlining?

This year’s headline acts are Pink and Jay Z.

While Pink has performed at V twice before, this year will be Jay Z’s first.

Jay Z’s wife Beyoncé previously headlined V Festival in 2013 though this year pulled out of a headline slot at the Californian Coachella festival shortly after announcing that she was pregnant with twins.

Other acts worth keeping an eye out for include Stormzy, Madness, Sean Paul and Dizzee Rascal.
