Nothing grinds you to a halt quite like a pounding, throbbing headache.
Over the counter medicines and tablets are often the go-to solution; but is there another way to cure one?
According to Face Yoga Expert Danielle Collins there is – and as she shows in the video above, it’s all to do with massage.
“One of the many techniques is using Acupressure, an ancient Chinese and Indian system of applying pressure to specific points on your face,” she explains.
“When a point is pressed on the face it can have many benefits, including freeing up any blockages in energy.
“This is a subtle ‘energy’ which is known as ‘chi’ or ‘prana’. The benefits of this can be seen and felt in the face and the head as well as the rest of the body and the mind. This is hard to measure but can be described as a feeling of ‘wellbeing’ or ‘clarity’.”
