A woman has dropped five stone thanks to an imaginary gastric band.

Jessica Penney, 26, from Bermondsey, South London, was addicted to fast food and gorged on burgers, chips, fizzy drinks and chocolate every day - tipping the scales at 17 stone.

She had failed at numerous diets but was desperate to lose weight - so when a friend spotted The Hypnotist Man, Robert Hisee, on Facebook, Jessica decided to fork out £300 for a three-hour session.

Robert helped cure Jessica’s overeating by creating an imaginary gastric band, as well as explaining the importance of portion control.

And it worked. It ended her unhealthy eating habits and she suddenly started to feel full after only eating small amounts.

She has now dropped five stone since August 2014 and is a size 12, weighing 11 stone.

Jessica, a full-time beauty therapist, said: "I was addicted to eating fast food and it didn't take long before my weight crept up to 17 stone.

"At a size 22 I was desperate to be thin and healthy, but I had failed at so many diets that I didn't know what else to do.

"That's until my friend spotted The Hypnotist Man, Robert Hisee, on Facebook. I got in touch straightaway and booked a session.

"I needed to change my eating habits and, thankfully, Robert knew how to change my mental attitude towards food.

"I feel like it's a real miracle. I had no surgery yet the following morning I could barely eat more than five mouthfuls of breakfast without being full.

"In just three months I dropped four dress sizes, and my friends and family were struggling to recognise me. For the first time in my life I felt in control of my diet and my confidence was growing."

Jessica had always struggled with her weight but after the birth of her two children, she found it exceptionally difficult to keep the pounds off.

She added: "I was always so busy and hadn't got time to think about what I was eating, so I would just grab something quickly.

"I used to work next door to two fast food restaurants so I was eating burgers, chips and fizzy drinks on a daily basis."

Jessica had become so insecure that she struggled to leave the house, and it was affecting her children.

She said: "I couldn't take the kids swimming as I would never have had the confidence to wear a bikini or costume.

"I felt as though everyone was judging my weight when I went outside so I couldn't even go to our local park at my heaviest weight.

"That's why it's so amazing what Robert has done, he has transformed my life in every way.

"I'm so thankful to him and I've recommended his work to so many of my friends who are also trying to lose weight."

For part of Jessica's three-hour session, Robert handed her a stone to symbolise how much food she should be eating at each meal time.

This is something that still helps her now.

She said: "I use the stone as a portion guide and even the morning after the three-hour session I felt full quicker.

"I no longer need sugary snacks and takeaways, I cook things from fresh now and I'm finally happy with my weight."

Robert Hisee, The Hypnotist Man, said: "When I first met Jessica she was really unhappy and had lost all her confidence.

"I talked her through why dieting wouldn't work for her and gave her a stone to visualise what she could eat, as, if you can't see it, you can't be it.

"I asked her to think about how she would look in the future and how this would come from portion control.

"I also talked Jessica through the gastric band process so she could create an imaginary one in her mind.

"She has completely transformed her life since our session and now she's finally happy with her appearance and looks great."
