We’ve teamed up with First News, the UK’s only newspaper for young people, to show how technology is changing jobs.
Just The Job is a series of videos from BT and First News designed to inspire young people around the jobs and the skills they’ll need to succeed in the workplace.
Part of our campaign to build a culture of tech literacy, the videos aim to excite young people about where tech skills could take them in their future career.
The campaign shows that tech will be in every job, whether they work in food, fashion or farming.
Liz Williams, Director of Tech Literacy and Education Programmes at BT, said: “With the help of First News we’ve created this series of videos aimed at nine to 13-year-olds.
“Each features a young reporter exploring a variety of jobs and shows how tech is embedded in ways you wouldn’t necessarily expect.
“Finding different ways to inspire young people to move from being avid consumers of tech to want to look under the bonnet and acquire digital creator skills is vital if they are to be in a position to step up to the jobs of the future.”
