Why have things changed?

We're bringing your BT products and services together in one site, BT.com, to make it easier for you to enjoy all the benefits of your broadband service. Changing where you log in for email and replacing the BT Yahoo! portal are among the first changes.

What's in it for me?

Apart from access to your email, BT.com now offers up-to-the-minute news, entertainment, technology and lifestyle stories, picture galleries, videos and much more. Plus it gives you access to your online bill, service updates, all our products and services, plus online help.

We've designed the new BT.com to work seamlessly on computers, smartphones and tablets. It will automatically fit the device you're viewing it on, whether that's a computer, a tablet or a phone, so you can access all your BT services and the latest news and features wherever you are.

Why has the BT Yahoo! Mail login page disappeared?

We wanted to bring together all our BT services into one place – BT.com. So, as part of the closure of the BT Yahoo! portal, we've removed the BT Yahoo! login page which you previously used to access BT Yahoo! Mail.

Instead, to get to BT Yahoo! Mail you now need to log in via BT.com. Just click on the 'Email' link on the main navigation bar (on the far right) to log in to your email securely. You should use your current email address and password.

Can I still access my Flickr service?

Yes. For the moment, you can keep using your current Flickr account if you want to and continue to access Flickr in the same way at www.flickr.com.

Yahoo! is creating a way for you to create a new Yahoo! ID that will enable you to keep your existing Flickr account (including using your existing Flickr name), even after your email has moved to BT Mail later this year.

BT and Yahoo! will provide help nearer the time so you'll know what to do.

What about the Yahoo! portal services I use, such as Finance, Answers or Games?

We've now closed the BT Yahoo! portal homepage that you previously used to access BT Yahoo! Mail. This means any customisations you set up on this page won't be available anymore. The BT Yahoo! portal links are being redirected to BT.com.

For a while, you'll be able to use a number of Yahoo! personalised services accessed through your BT Yahoo! email address and password until your BT Yahoo! Mail service is closed and moved to BT Mail.
