A mysterious crack one mile long and up to eight metres deep has baffled locals after opening in the ground in rural Mexico.
The video above, captured by a drone, makes clear the size and scale of the enormous crevice that appeared near the town of Hermosillo in the northeast of the country on August 16.
The cause of the crack has been disputed, and, according to local reports, may have been caused by an earthquake or nearby construction work.
