The family of a cyclist who died after an alleged hit-and-run accident have said they are "deeply saddened" at the loss of a "wonderful" man.
Brian Tozer, 46, of The Hexagon, Andover, Hampshire, died from the injuries he suffered when he was hit by a vehicle near to Folly Roundabout, Redon Way, Andover, in the early hours of Sunday.
Mr Tozer was found lying in the road by a passing motorist who called an ambulance. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he later died.
His family said in a statement released through Hampshire Police: "We, as the family of Brian Tozer, would like to say firstly, how much we are deeply saddened by the tragic and sudden death of Brian.
"Brian was a wonderful, son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by us all including his extended family, friends and work colleagues."
A 28-year-old man who was later arrested has been bailed pending further inquiries until June 28.
