A woman found dead in a flat along with her young child has been named by police.
Lillian Oluk, 36, was discovered after police were called to reports of a "concern for welfare" at the property in Trafalgar Street, Gillingham, Kent, on Monday.
Officers and medics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) found the bodies of Ms Oluk and her unnamed child.
Their deaths are being treated as unexplained as investigators continue to search the scene, Kent Police said.
A post-mortem examination on Ms Oluk proved inconclusive. Further tests will now be carried out but her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem on the child is due to take place on Friday. Meanwhile, officers appealed for anyone with information to call them on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
