Ellie Cole, 35, was bopping away silently to her music while waiting for a bus one grey day in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

Little did she know that her hip-swivelling, finger-waggling, air-punching routine was being filmed by a café owner opposite.

Her entertaining pavement routine was posted on YouTube in April, set to Abba’s Dancing Queen, and has been seen by more than a million people since.

"I'm just a normal everyday person who happens to like dancing at bus stops,” said Cole, who later revealed she was actually listening to Alesha Dixon's Knock Down at the time.  Dixon tweeted the video to her thousands of followers.

Cole was subsequently offered a role in the chorus line of the musical Ah Men at The Point Theatre in Eastleigh, staged on Sunday evening. Playwright Lynne Paris had tracked down the dancing secretary after her son showed her the hit clip.
