The world’s first 3D printer for gummy sweets is set to be launched across the UK this week, starting in Essex.

The gummy sweet printers, made by The Magic Candy Factory, are launched on November 24 at Lakeside shopping centre in Essex before being extended across the country.

The company says all the sweets which they print are vegan, gluten-free and dairy free, kosher and halal friendly.

According to their website, the sweets are made in under five minutes with vegetable-based gelling agents and all natural fruit and vegetable extracts “to create something as natural as it is delicious”.

The company has already had launch events in Europe and the machines will become available in the US and Middle East too.
