Windows 10 has been available for over three months now – and the reaction has been pretty divided.

Some have had a smooth ride installing the new operating system onto their PC, while others have been plagued by errors and a reduction in speed.

Microsoft released the update on July 29 as a free upgrade for existing Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users, and has since drawn 110 million people to Windows 10.

However, the company’s continued attempts to lure even more users have come under scrutiny.

It was first caught downloading Windows 10 files onto PC hard drives of those who hadn’t upgraded – and is also planning to include it in the standard Recommended Update.

Microsoft recently released its first major update for Windows 10, too, which introduced a number of other new features and fixes.
