The best BT Sport fixtures and Netflix TV shows and films to watch in 4K

4K Ultra HD provides the clearest, sharpest picture so far in TV technology. Here's what you should be watching in the format.

Last updated: 15 October 2018 - 2.02pm

Ultra HD, or 4K as it is also known, is the latest development in television technology, offering four times greater picture clarity than HD - and eight times more than your standard TV picture.

The huge jump in picture resolution means that when you're looking at an Ultra HD programme up close, you'll be able to see incredible amounts of detail, from fine lines on leaves in nature programs to individual faces in the crowd at sporting events.

1. How to find 4K Ultra HD shows on BT Sport

BT Sport in 4K Ultra HD brings much deeper, richer colours to your screen and, by delivering the action at 50 frames per second, gives viewers much sharper pictures and less motion blur. This is espcially noticeable when you watch fast-moving sports like football or motor racing, where camera movements will look much smoother.
