Rocket Ronnie O'Sullivan left Ed Miliband well and truly snookered after he trounced him on the green baize.

The Labour leader took an hour out from the campaign trail to shoot pool with the five-time world champion in Sheffield.

Mr Miliband is a big fan of O'Sullivan but recently warned him to "watch out" after performing a stunning trick shot during a game with ITV's Tom Bradby during filming for the Tonight programme.

But he was unable to replicate the success when confronted by the snooker legend, losing 3-0.

Mr Miliband joked afterwards: "I took it easy on him."

The pair can be seen battling it out in a video played at a Labour rally in London.

O'Sullivan admitted he has avoided the ballot box in the past but urged voters this time round to back Labour.
