What is the Keep Connected Promise?
Report a fault with your broadband straight away and we’ll take a look at your line, perform some tests and depending on the nature of the fault, send you our Mini Hub at no extra cost to use until your fault is fixed.
The Mini Hub fits through your letter box. Inside it is a mobile SIM card which provides a 4G signal that you can connect your devices too.
So even if your broadband isn’t working you can still browse the web, watch the BT TV app on your smartphone or tablet, and movies on Netflix. If you can’t bear to miss Liverpool in their latest Champions League match, watch using the BT Sport app.
With the Mini Hub you can set up Parental Controls via My BT, so you’ve got peace of mind your children or grandchildren can safely go online.
Keep your Mini Hub safe and in the unlikely event you have a problem with your broadband in the future, we’ll turn it on within an hour of you reporting it.
Got mobile with us? Get unlimited data
The Mini Hub is for all BT Plus broadband customers but if you have mobile with us we’ll switch on Broadband Backup.
Once you’ve reported a fault, we’ll switch on free and unlimited data to all the Mobiles on your BT Plus account until the problem is fixed. We’ll switch it on within an hour and send you an email and SMS to confirm it’s been turned on.
This means you can use your Mobile phone as a wi-fi hotspot and share the internet connection with other devices, such as tablets and laptops to it, so they can get online.
